August's Featured Hound
Savannah

|
Savannah is a sweet, loving, 6 year young dog who loves her
humans. She follows her foster family everywhere and does not want
to miss the action. However, after 11 pm she is down for the count
and is a sound sleeper. She likes to sleep with her people, but it
is not required. She has a keen sense for human food, but does not
get any from her family, and is perfectly content with her own food.
She is afraid of thunderstorms, she trembles, so will need
reassurance and make sure she is with her humans during storms. She
is not particularly fond of being left alone, but seems to be ok and
is not destructive. She is not overly found of younger, bigger and
playful canine friends, but gets along great with the smaller more
mature types. She is very playful and loves to roll in the grass and
take an occasional sunbath. She loves to help with yard work, and
will be your most faithful companion. She occasionally likes to
sleep on the furniture, but it's not really her favorite spot, her
favorite spot is where her people are.
